A tablecloth that is too short looks like it shrank, and one that is too long ends up in everyone's lap. The good news: finding the right size takes one measurement and one decision. Here is how to do it for a round, oval or rectangular table.

If you use extension leaves for Christmas dinner, measure the table with the leaves in.
The drop is how far the cloth hangs down from the edge of the table.

The cloth hangs down on both sides, so add the drop twice to each measurement.
If your result falls between two sizes in the list, choose the larger one, or ask us for a custom size.

A round cloth follows the shape of a round table and hangs evenly all the way around. A square or rectangular cloth on a round table hangs in four points, which looks relaxed and rustic. Both are right, it is a matter of taste.

Linen shrinks a little in the first wash. You do not need to add anything for it: our workshop already includes a shrinkage allowance when cutting. Just give us the finished size you want.
When you place an order, you can write the size of your table and the drop you would like in the order notes, and we will double-check the size before we cut the fabric. Every tablecloth is sewn to order. Please note that custom sizes cannot be returned, so if you are unsure about a color, order fabric samples first.
Then finish the table with napkins, a runner or placemats from our Christmas & New Year collection. December is our busiest month, so we recommend ordering early.
